The Other Shoe Dropped

I got up this morning in one of the best moods I’ve been in for months. I was really happy.

Then three things happened.

1) I checked KnowHR Blog this morning and got this message: “Website temporarily unavailable.” Ugh.

2) When I got to the office, the air conditioner was out. I contacted the building management. Double ugh.

3) I got a letter from the U.S. Dept. of Treasury. You know this wasn’t good. $500 fine for filing a late partnership return. Triple ugh.

Bad things happen in threes, right? I’m hoping so, because my good mood is starting to wane. (And I thought I was unlucky when I didn’t have a single number in the $300 million Powerball this weekend.)

  • Yes, Pinky Bear, it will be better because I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight at the Troc.
  • Well, they do come in threes but that means that it is over. Sometimes when things seem the worse, the sun breaks through and shines brighter than before! It will be a good day after all!
  • Rick, now that's just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, my friend.

Mark, lol, yep it's a Monday. I also can now add to the list that our phones are on the fritz (and I called to make a service call...whent he phones didn't work).

Pax, maybe it's a sign that we need a play day. I'm going to see Jimmi host Hairspray tonight. Should be fun.
  • Frank,

The AC at Officeland II is on the fritz also!
  • Looks like somebody's got a case of the Monday's! ;)
  • I hate when things like that happen. It can ruin my mood for a long time.

Perspective rarely works on me but it might with you so here goes.

Wildly successful business, family going great, talented, creative, connected, lots of friends (in-person and virtual),witty and with substantial dreams. It is good to be Frank.
  • I hate when these kind of things happen. It can ruin my mood for days.
