Camera Phone Changes How I Do Things

Parking

That’s where my car is parked at PHL. Each time I park I make a quick picture with my camera phone and then I don’t have to write down on a scrap of paper where I left my car. I find that I use my iPhone camera more and more. It’s a matter of convenience. I have a killer Nikon DSLR and a very nice Casio 10Meg portable. But it’s the convenience of a convergence device — having a built in camera makes me take more shots. Added bonus: I’ll know where my car is when I get to the airport tomorrow.

  • PSoTD, funny, it really works for me. Since I've been doing it I make a pic of the spot and the elevator bank. I guess if I lose my phone I lose my car. Yikes!
  • This is really the first time I've heard of a use of a camera phone where I thought, "that could be handy after all".
  • Albert, Pax and Jimmi...lol...that is too funny.

Rick and Jess, it really works...Jess, you make so many nice pix with your regular cam...I'd bet you'd take a lot with a camera phone. Rick, funny, huh? I'm always looking for a shortcut.
  • I'll bring some TP and Shaving Cream!! ;-)
  • LOL at Albert's idea!!!
  • let's go egg frank's car while he's out of town!
  • Great idea. I frequently forget where I park at O'Hare and I am there frequently.

I resolve to focus on ways that I can use technology to make life easier. Given that the new year just started this is timely.
  • I love that idea. If only I had a camera phone.
  • Great idea. I forget my parking spot at airports all the freakin'time.

I am making a new New Year's resolution (Jewish ny,I am not late/early) to think of ways to use technology to make life easier.

Hope the trip back from Denver is better than the one out.
