I got a call from Apple. “Your computer is ready, Mr. Roche.”
I cringed and asked the critical question: “Were you able to transfer the data?”
“Yes. And the motherboard, the keyboard, two data cables, and the top case.”
Guess what nearly new computer I’m working from. You won’t believe this, but when I got this machine I named it Frankenstein. Now it really is built from other body parts. I just hope it doesn’t turn on its master.
Oh, one last thing. Repeat after me: I will back up my computer every week no matter what I do.
