Today’s a good day. For the first time in a long while things are back being right in the world. These three songs sum it up.
Many Rivers to Cross by Jimmy Cliff
Redemption Song by Bob Marley
Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright
Funny, when I look at this set they’re all religious. Hmmm….this is just a 3-part YouTube essay. The sequence isn’t by happenstance.
You Knew This Had to Happen
Throwing Down Our Gang Signs
The Serious Shot
Sheryl With the Boys
The Whole Family

Not surprising that they have a religious theme. I am convinced that all compassion comes from the religious or at least spiritual side of us. Rationale and intellectual is not the path to caring.
Glad the world is right for at least a day. Here’s to hoping that it lasts. Peace brother.
All wonderful choices, Frank.
Here’s to better days!
All great tunes.
Here’s to better days, my friend!

Sorry for the double post.
Cool tunes, Frank.
Thanks, all. It’s onto good days. I’m a happy guy.

Albert, isn’t that a gret Jimmy Cliff? Yep, I think it’s SNL. And Marley…I like the shots of the guys sitting around da place.
