My Morning Routine

5:30 Awake
5:40 – 6:00 Walk Snickers the Wonder Dog
6:00 – 6:01 Give STWD her Milk Bone when we return.
6:01 – 6:02 Give TastyTreats to a meowing Benny J. Goodcat XXIII.
6:02 – 6:05 Fill dog and cat water bowls.
6:05 – 6:06 Take Vitamin E, fish oil, folic acid, and a Flintstones.
6:06 – 6:26 Read the Philadelphia Inquirer.
6:30 – 6:40 Speed through my Google Reader.
6:40 – 7:00 Write a blog post.
7:05 – 7:20 Take a shower.
7:53 Leave the house
8:06 Catch R5 train to Center City.
8:50 Stop at ING Cafe at 17th and Chestnut for a decaf with skim milk.
9:00 In the office and ready to write my little fingertips off.

    I am envious of the speed and efficiency. I get up about the same time but a shower and writing a post would be all I might get done in the same time. I wouldn’t even have time to dress before I left the house and that would not be pretty.

    Speed and efficiency really frees time for more stuff. And you do it on decaf. Do you have a secret besides a genetically high adrenaline flow? Maybe its the Flinstones?

    LOL, Pinky Bear…I’m indiscriminate with my Flintstones Vitamins. I like them all…but I do like Fred on the show. He’s my role model.

    Rick, it’s 13 years of being an altar boy and serving 6AM mass EVERY DAY for 6 of those years. I was a little kid and used to be at church every day before 6AM. I laugh about the predictability of my days — but somehow it works. I’ll have to go with the Flintstones as a reason why it works.
