This soup was on the daily lunch menu at my favorite restaurant the other day. One of our group got the soup — she said the mint was a nice counterbalance to the other main ingredient.

I think you missed the point in you juvenile sarcasm. The key is that it is “fresh” – never frozen. The canned stuff is especially unsatisfying.
