It's about how FDR inspired America in the midst of the worst crisis since the Civil War by giving them hope...not sugar coating the depth of the problems, but making them believe we could work through them. I'm tired of crazy wars...I told my boys 6 years ago that there was no way we'd have another Vietnam, that we were too smart. It's a fighting mentality that scares me, and Obama knows how to compromise. We could use a little of that. We'll find out in a week...and I'll be at the Inauguration in January. It'll be historical.
