No, We’re Not Doing Drugs

Sheryl and I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Assed Sequel yesterday afternoon. When we got home, this note was there for Sheryl. It answered all her standard questions for Stephen when he’s heading out. It says:

Mall, the movies w/ Bobby and Sunny.

Yes, I have a movies pass.

Yes, I have money.

No, we’re not doing drugs.

Yes. I will need a ride home, please.

I have my permit w/ me.

Transformers 2 at 6:50 in IMAX to most likely answer your last question…

P.S. We’re eating at the mall.

You never have to worry about your kids when they’re great like our guys.

That is priceless! What a chip off the old block he is.

And yes, Harry Potter and the Horny Classmates was pretty lame (had to take my niece to see it last week).

ha! that's classic, Frank. I don't know why I never left a note like that — the concept certainly crossed my mind once upon a time.

Pax, LOL. I thought his writing was pretty inspired on this one.

What a funny title for HP…that was pretty bad.

Howard, I'm quite certain I would have never had the guts to leave a note like that for my parents. It's funny to see what the dudes are thinking…and we always think we're ahead of them. ;-)

Love the note. This is a biproduct of great parenting.

Can't help but notice the irony however, that the teenage “I am so smart, I know what your lame-ass parent questions are before you ask them” list of answers is written on letterhead for a FERTILIZER company.

Don't tell me you and Sheryl missed that!

@Blll We really got called out on that one. It's really good…and he is just a little too clever. ;)

It's too freaking funny that he's a step ahead of us…or so he thinks.
