Day Four SXSW 2010

by Frank Roche on March 16, 2010

Ate breakfast at Annie’s. I really like their coffee.

Signed up for Gowalla. You can find out everywhere I’ve been by following me there.

Sat with a group of writers and directors in a session called Direct a Great Film by Storyboarding with Stick Figures. I learned a lot about camera angles.

Had lunch with a bunch of people at Iron Works Bar-B-Q. They eat a lot of meat in Austin. I washed that down by eating at Frank. Yeah, it’s a hot dog place. They have the coolest website name: hotdogscoldbeer.com.

Saw a terrific movie called The Parking Lot Movie. It’s a documentary about a group of parking lot attendants in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was really great, and the Q&A with the director afterwards was outstanding. Here’s a look at it.

To cap the night, our shuttle driver was channeling Pricilla, Queen of the Desert and Lady Gaga. He said he was a good one to do the shuttle routes because he’d slept in every hotel in Austin. LOL.

I guess the bread thing went by the way side!

Wow…LOL, you're right…I lost my head. It's back now. Forgot about the hot dog bun as bread. How convenient.
