Sheryl and I bought 12 forsythia plants for $12/each about 8 years ago. We heeled them in the first year. They were little sticks. Sparse. Look at them now. There’s a golden riot going on in our side yard. Every year this makes me happy. We made it through another winter (this one with 77 inches of snow in Philly) and spring is really here.

Great time of the year when everything starts to bloom. Some of my flowering trees are almost ready to open, a couple of more warm days should do it. Those little sticks from 8 years ago looks great.
