I watched Marina Abramović in The Artist is Present a couple of weeks ago. And I can’t get it out of my mind. She’s an amazing performance artist. We all know that performance artists take risks — Marina does that times a thousand.
In The Artist is Present, she sat silently for 90 days and looked into the eyes of anyone who sat across from her in a chair at MoMA. It was incredibly intense. Marina talked about slowing down time. And the emotion of real connection.
