Wow
I walked past the Comcast Center last evening around 7pm. I couldn’t stop staring at the “Cutout,” which doesn’t show very well in this shot, but is the coolest architectural feature I’ve seen in a long while. It’s all glass, and it looks like there are offices and conference rooms slotted in there.
And it made me think: In Philly, you know that you’ve really made it when you get to the Cutout. The Cutout is just badass. Philly wiz-wit-we-boo-Santa kinda of badass.
I just read Maidink’s “Things That Should Never Be Uttered” and shuddered. She could use some good karma if you have some to spare.
This poor woman couldn’t walk and talk with the animals.
That’s a Bactrian camel, btw. They’re the ones with the double humps.
