I was listening to This American Life last night on my train ride home and it made me think of this Crosby, Stills and Nash song called Wasted on the Way. The show was the Valentine’s Day episode and there was a very powerful story by Richard Bausch, in which he reads his story “Letter to the Lady of the House.” It’s about time that’s gone by. You can listen to the episode here.

That was a wonderful piece. I literally just stopped everything to just listen to it.

Moni, wasn’t it something? That guy’s love letter to his wife was amazing.

Frank,
I am downloading that pod cast to listen to it today as I drive mama to her doctor’s appointments.
About the song; yup, that might be added to the soundtrack of my life at one point.

I have only listened to the song so far. I sang along with that on the radio when it was new all those years ago, and I had no clue what it meant. Makes me cry now.
