The Loneliest Job in the World

I was at the airport last night picking up a friend at 10:30. Terminal E in Philadelphia International Airport is a ghost town at that time of night. Yet, there sat the woman in the picture.

Her job? Information.

Yep…she sits at a desk where no one stops by. At night. In a cement rectangle.

She has the loneliest job in the world.

But she was super chipper. I talked to her for a little while. About the weather. Travel schedules. The airport.

I admire her. How many of you could do the loneliest job in the world?
