Acrophobia on the Sydney Harbor Bridge

I was talking with an Australian friend of mine recently about walking across the Sydney Harbor Bridge. I had watched an episode of American Chopper, and when the Teutles were crossing the bridge with guides (the normal way), Mikey freaked out. He wanted down. And *now*. I could empathize.

So, when I say this video of a guy walking the bridge at night, without safety equipment, or even the good sense to walk on the gangway, I just couldn’t turn away. Scary, scary. I can’t get enough of watching high wire acts, as creepy as they are.

  • Ugh, Jessica, I couldn't even think about that. I once went to the top of Mont Blanc and was scared out of my wits....my wife helped me by not letting me get too close to the edge.

When I see people working high up I think, "Not for a million dollars a day."
  • I watched that guy Mike Rowe paint a bridge on Dirty Jobs yesterday. My legs were trembling! Bridges are heavy on the mind lately. I think I might be a lil scared crossing for a while...
