Twittering

by Frank Roche on November 1, 2007

Twitter has transitioned from a proxy for kids talking on walkie-talkies — “What are you doing? I don’t know, what are your doing?” — to a useful communication platform. Its limit of 140 characters makes writers compress their language. You can get my Twitter micromedia updates here. And here’s the RSS feed.

It’s not necessarily an interesting life, but it’s mine. There are some interesting people on Twitter. You can check out some of the 75 people I follow. I learn a lot on there.

I was all a twitter for Twitter when it first hit, but since I can not access it at work (and yet I can access your blog-go figure), I lead a Twitter-free existence.

I don’t get it either. But it does look kind of interesting…I may have to check this out a little bit more.

Moni, I’m glad to see you on Twitter. It’ll grow on you…add people to follow…then knock off ones who are boring…eventually you’ll find some interesting material. It took me a while, but I’m there now.
