And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon

Scott McNulty prepares before a taping of Fork You Live
I went to a taping of Fork You Live on Saturday. I’ve been a big fan of Fork You since Scott and Marisa started it over a year ago, but this was the first time I’ve attended a live taping. And man was it worth it.
I laughed for a solid hour. Scott is one of the quickest and funniest improv comedians I’ve ever seen. While Marisa cooks and prepares and interacts with the audience (there were 35+ of us there), Scott zings one-liners. It was really fun to watch them do theri thing and get a peek behind the curtain. If you ever have a chance, I’d highly recommend going to one of their shows, which are taped at Fosters Homeware on 4th and Chestnut.

Hi, it's me, the guy whose name is at the top of the page. I'm on the left doing my best impression of Mr. Magoo. Those are my boys Steve and Matt. They're a lot bigger than me now, but I like this picture from last summer, so I'm going with it.
Thanks for coming out on Saturday, Frank. I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed the show!
Maybe the Food Network will get smart and pick them up.
Sounds like fun.
Glad you had a good time, Frank. I was great seeing you!
The secret to my success: heavy drinking before the show.
I really do think this is going to go mainstream. It’s that good…I’ve thought that all along. And they are good with an audience…even without a producer to keep the audience quiet and not talking from the cheap seats.
Scott, honest to goodness, you are some kind of funny. Like Dennis Miller funny, but in the likable way. And Marisa, you just keep going, even when things could make it not good…I was amazed at how poised you guys were in front of a lot of people. Well done.
i’ve missed the last 3 now! been out of town or had prior plans each time. arg. but i was at the first one!
Albert, that’s the one to have been at. I have to say they’re very comfortable in front of an audience…which isn’t easy to do. Very cool indeed.
they’re so comfortable now only because of all the crazy hecklers in the audience at the first taping
