I grew up here. I’m sitting in the Hotel Allegro in The Loop. And this song goes through my head when I see the blue flashes from the El outside my window. I know NYC has New York, New York; Philly has Philadelphia Freedom; and SF has I Left My Heart in San Francisco; but c’mon, this is the best song for a city ever. The Buddy Guy version backed up by Eric Clapton? Classic.
