I worked with a guy who used to say, “Let’s not get sweaty around the waistband on this one.”
When I was young — and much thinner — I didn’t know what he meant. Sadly, now I do.
So, today I’m celebrating pants that fit. I’m wearing a pair of black pants today. They’re comfortable. The hell with tight pants — I’ll leave that to the young guys (the ones who don’t know yet that waistbands do get sweaty and think that’ll never happen to them).
